ICFO participates one more year in the STEAM Conference, an event dedicated to innovative projects in STEAM education.

You will find us in the second session of parallel workshops on October 13 with workshop 8 True or false? – Dismantling fake news with critical thinking.

In this workshop we will give secondary and high school teachers tools to encourage critical thinking among students. We will focus on fake news about science, how to identify them, where to find reliable sources of information and how to dismantle them.

It is a workshop designed in collaboration with other centers of the BIST (Barcelona Institute for Science and Technology), such as the IBEC and the IRB.
