The Quantum Careers Symposium is organized in collaboration with the European Quantum Flagship, the DigiQ program, the Catalonia Quantum Academy, and the Master in Quantum Science & Technology within the framework of the 360 CARLA project, a Horizon Europe project which was launched in January 2024. The 360 CARLA project is continuing the mission and objectives of the CARLA project and is offering tailored and round-up career development programs focused on four photonics applications, called verticals: Health: Biotech and Medical Photonics; Quantum Technologies and Communications; Energy, Environment and Sustainability; Manufacturing/Industry 4.0. These round-up, cohesive programs are integrating the implementation of career symposiums, mentorship opportunities, innovation and entrepreneurship experiences (short visit to organizations), and training sessions, while ensuring that diversity and inclusion values are followed. These events aim to encourage university students and young researchers to pursue a career in Deep Tech fields such photonics and quantum technologies. CARLA events integrate the fields of industry, academia, innovation and entrepreneurship, putting special emphasis on empowering diversity.
