For yet another year, the 10alamenos9 festival brings the nanoworld closer to all audiences through seminars, workshops, contests and other activities that aim to engage the public about the importance and impact of nanotechnology in our society.
ICFO participates to the festival also this year, joining many different research centres spread across the Iberian peninsula and Latin America.
Many of the research groups at ICFO use photons to better understand the nanoworld or develop new amazing technologies that may improve our society.
Discover the graphene corner where you will fabricate your graphene flake and you will observe it with the microscope. Come to the workshop we organized for the Festival 10alamenos9 and that will take place on May 9, 2026 at 17h.
Moreover, you can learn even more about graphene in the Speaking Corners where Dr. Jaime Díez, from ICFO, will give a flash talk about “magic angle” and superconductivity.
